I work as an independent design & branding professional in the beautiful city of Copenhagen, Denmark.

Before moving to Denmark in 2018 I lived in Oslo, Norway where I founded Nanako&Co in 2015.
I have over 12 years of experience in Branding from my time working in international branding agencies. At Interbrand in Hamburg I was the leader of the Packaging Design team for key clients like Unilever and Bayer, at Brandimage Tokyo I was in charge of our key clients Danone and Otsuka and at Londor Tokyo I worked on various packaging and corporate design projects for example for Mt.Rainier and Kikkoman. Here is where my love for branding started and I am passionate about it ever since.

Besides my work I also participated in training courses such as the Color Marketing Group workshop in Singapore and the Art Directors Club seminar in Tokyo, where I successfully completed a half year Art Director training course led by the most renowned Designers in Japan.

I hold a degree in Communication Design and Branding from my studies at the Design Factory International in Hamburg during which I took part in an exchange program at the Donghua University in Shanghai. In the course of my studies I completed 4 internships in Hamburg, Shanghai and Tokyo, to ladder I then moved for work and to follow my passion for Japanese culture, design and aesthetics.

I have worked for a wide range of clients and gained experience working for various industries on key accounts such as:
Unilever, Bayer, Boehringer Ingelheim, Danone, SCA, Barbor, Telekom, Kikkoman, P&G, Ajinomoto, Coty Prestige, Kirin, Suntory, Meiji, Morinaga, Toshiba, Otsuka, Takeda, Japan Airlines, Mikimoto and Japan Tobacco.
